Dr. Tej Gonza is the Co-Founder and Director of the IED and an Assistant Professor at the University of Ljubljana. He serves on the Advisory Council of Cankarjev dom, Slovenia’s largest cultural centre, and sits on the Board of the International Association for the Economics of Participation. His academic and practical work focuses on democratic forms of business ownership, including policy research, legislative development at the municipal, national, and EU levels, and technical support for businesses transitioning to democratic ownership. He is also a Research Fellow at Rutgers University’s School of Management and Labor Relations and a recipient of the Changemakers Fellowship for Democracy.
