Kosta is the Director of the Institute for Economic Democracy and a researcher at the Centre for Organisational and Human Resources Research at the Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Ljubljana. He is responsible for the organisation’s strategic leadership and is also actively involved in international advocacy projects and the development of policy proposals. He holds a bachelor’s degree in International and Diplomatic Studies from the University of Bologna. He continued his postgraduate studies at the London School of Economics and Political Science, where he earned a master’s degree in Political Economy of Europe. He joined the Institute in 2021 as a Researcher. Before taking up his current role, he headed the Policy and Research Department from 2024 to 2025 and served as the IED’s Director of Operations from 2025 to 2026.
