The Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) is a model for a full (100%) or partial employee buyout of a healthy, profitable company. The model enables all employees to become co-owners of their company without any personal investment. The buyout is fully financed through the company’s free cash flow (a leveraged buyout).
