Workshop 1 (4. 11.)Presentation of the Slovenian ESOP model

Tilen Božič
We will present the Slovenian ESOP model, an internationally recognised model for assisting with ownership succession, which, unlike some other forms of exit, preserves the company's legacy, ensures business stability and rewards the employee collective. The special guest will be Saša Muhič Pureber from Inea, the first Slovenian 100 % employee-owned company, who will share with you the experience of transitioning to employee ownership.
Workshop 2 (5. 11.)Strategies and funding sources for the transition to employee ownership
Katja Šteblaj
You will learn how to finance buy-outs through the ESOP model. It will present the issue of business valuation, the possibility of owner financing and the opportunities offered by upcoming financial instruments for ESOP buy-outs.
Workshop 3 (6. 11.)Preparing for a successful transfer and culture of ownership
Prof. Dr. Mina Ličen
The process of preparing for the transfer of a company to employees and the importance of building a culture of ownership will be presented. You will learn about the principle of open books, a programme through which employees can be further motivated to meet relevant targets.

Places are limited to maximum two participants per company.
