Project duration: 01.02.2026 - 30.04.2028
Project purpose and objectives: The consortium partners work in the interlinked areas of social justice, democracy, climate, nature and environmental protection and identify the following common challenges: How to strengthen the information and knowledge of target audiences on complex social, economic and environmental issues and their global interdependence in the face of rising intolerance and misinformation; How to reach target audiences more effectively and communicate democratic values and scientific knowledge on complex issues in a context where authoritarian populism, polarisation of the public and different types of discrimination are on the rise; how to strengthen advocacy and encourage active citizenship to bring about systemic change in the Consortium Partners' fields of action; and how to ensure access to additional financial resources and strengthen the human and organisational stability of the Consortium Partners.
Based on the challenges, the consortium has identified four strategic objectives: to bring complex social, economic and environmental challenges closer to the target audiences through effective communication; to introduce integrated approaches for a more critically thinking society and more active citizenship; to strengthen the influence of civil society in achieving systemic change; and to develop sustainable strategies and models for (co-)action.
