Ifjust as business would like to see both laws on workers' remuneration already in force, they are stuck in the Ministry of Finance.
"Both bills are still in the expert drafting phase within an inter-ministerial working group or inter-ministerial and coalition coordination. Therefore, all solutions (not only the tax treatment) of both Bills are still open," the Ministry of Finance stressed."
The IED believes that the two proposed laws are particularly strong together, as they offer solutions to different problems in the Slovenian economy: the ZLZD law mainly solves the problem of succession in small and medium-sized enterprises, while ZUDOND allows companies to reward their employees in a tax-advantaged way.
